Hello everyone,
Not everyone is blessed with clear skin. So, the savior is makeup to
look pretty. The foundation comes in
hand to cover almost all imperfections in our skin and gives us a great look.
There were many brands available in market with various price ranges. Here, I
am reviewing about my very first Foundation, Revlon touch and glow (Moisturising makeup). I bought it after my acne breakout (during 2009 something… I
don’t know exactly) to cover my scars.. I was very shy and asked counter girl,
“Do you have foundation?” Ha ha :-) she smiled and show me Revlon, touch and
glow and she applied it on my wrist and spread it and gave me natural mist. I
know it sounds awful right?!!! I trusted her and I bought that one. My makeup
journey starts there…
Ingredients:
Titanium dioxide, Butylene glycol, Talc, Lanolin Alcohol.
What it
claims: A light, water based foundation moisturizing makeup for a naturally
radiant finish.
Price:
Rs- 349/- for 20 ml
Personal
Experience:
Revlon touch and glow comes in 4 shades. Today I am reviewing natural
mist. It is water based foundation and
consistency is runny. You have to apply fast, because it dries out soon. I used
to mix this with my water based moisturizer and apply it. Beauty blender (Damp)
is enough or you can use brush too. The coverage is light to medium. It didn’t break me out. It stays for 4 hours or so. After that, I may expect
oiliness in my T-Zone. I used to wash my face after lunch and reapply it, so,,
no problem here. Coming to colour;;; pinkish foundation.. Why major
foundation brands were selling pinkish foundation in warm temperate country
like india?. Seriously, they have to consider adding some warm darker shades in
their low price foundations too. It comes in a glass bottle, so handle with
care and no pump to dispense right amount of product. So, there will be wastage
of product.
Pros:
- Water based foundation
- Doesn’t break me out
- Stays for 4 hours for my skin (pretty good)
Cons:
- Not a matching colour for warmer skin tone (or even nearby colour for dusky or dark skin tones.)
Will I
recommend?
Good water based foundation for
daily use. So, yes.
