Herbal Kajal (Kohl)

Hello pretties,

Eyes tell thousand tales” is a popular saying. Eye gives a specific attention to a person. Even without any makeup, kajal applied eyes are enough to capture our loved one’s heart (wink; wink;). There are many kajal’s available around cosmetic world. Still, I prefer to use my own home made one because; here I know the ingredients are safe and healthy and it is perfect smooth and extra dark. What else we want???/ Here is the making procedure dears,;

Take pure white starch free cotton cloth. Kindly don’t wash this piece of cloth wit soap or detergent, just scrub it in hot water and make it clean. Now let it dry for few minutes in sun.

In mean time take collect the herbals mentioned below.

Aloevera piece – (don’t use commercial gels please) -  remove the side thorns and green outer covering and wash it in flowing water till you get rid of that sticky gooey substance

Henna leaves, curry leaves – one handful

Now grind all the above ingredients. Dip the dried cotton cloth on that juice and dry it in sun. repeat this steps for 6-7 times, so that cloth is full absorbed with benefits of herbal extracts. Roll out the cloth, to make it use for lighting the lamp.

Now take a copper plate (preferably), a lamp, castor or sesame oil, and the dried cloth and two tumblers. Now support the plate over two tumblers as shown in picture and place the lighted lamp under the plate in such a way that, the light will likely touch the plate so that, the emitted charcoal due to burning will get settled on plate.

Wait for some half and hour, or till lamp fully burned and don’t touch the plate immediately, as it is superhot. Wait for some half an hour and carefully take the plate. Now the black charcoal are all-over the plate. Carefully scratch it with some spoon or knife and collect it in storage container preferably glass or silver.

Smudge proof kajal: Now take a pan with water and boil it. Once it starts boils, take another big spoon and put some small amount of bees wax.  Kindly get pure organic bees wax. Now place the spoon over boiling water and allow it to melt. Now, add few drops of castor oil (or pure cow ghee) to melted wax and then add collected charcoal into that wax mixture.

Carefully mix it well and took it off from the boiling water and switch off the stove. Now pour 1 Vit E capsule (optional) and little pinch of pure camphor (edible) into that mixture and mix it well. Now before it cools down pour it into the container and set it aside for few minutes.

Ta Ta da… our pure herbal waterproof, smudge free kajal is ready. You can use brush, to apply it in eye. (Or) Pour it in already used empty eyeliner holder for easy use.

Revlon Touch and Glow Foundation - Review

Hello everyone, Not everyone is blessed with clear skin. So, the savior is makeup to look pretty. The foundation comes in hand to cover almost all imperfections in our skin and gives us a great look. There were many brands available in market with various price ranges. Here, I am reviewing about my very first Foundation, Revlon touch and glow ( Moisturising makeup ) . I bought it after my acne breakout (during 2009 something… I don’t know exactly) to cover my scars..
