Hibiscus Detox Drink

Hello Pretties,

Whatever be the climate our mind always longing for crispy snacks with hot tea or coffee, (no complaint of course ;-)). So, here is a very healthy Hibiscus herbal drink which is a better alternative for tea and it tastes heavenly and looks awesome too. Okey! Coming to its benefits; it is diuretic, hence cools down your body and it decreases glucose absorption into blood, so ideal drink for diabetes patient. And Al-Sooo… it promotes weight loss (happy ;- happy ;-).

Kind attention: Pregnant ladies and Low BP patients – say goodbye to this drink (sorry)

Ingredients for this magic potion:
Hibiscus petals (dried or fresh) - from 2 flowers – native red
Lemon – half (as per your taste)
Sugar – as per your taste (optional)
Pudhina  (Mint leaves) – (optional)

Now, take a pan and pour 2 cup water and allow it to boil. Now put those hibiscus petals in boiling water. Let it boil for 2-3 minutes. Now you can see the water is turning into dark maroon –purple. Now, turn off the stove. Filter it out and pour sugar as per your taste and Add 2-3 drops of lemon (I uses half lemon). See, the magic potion is now a yummy dark red to soft red colour.

Optionally you can add Mint leaves, for gentle refreshing morning.

From my personal experience, I used to drink this tea 2-3 times per day and with regular food intake and my body sweats like I undergone a massive workout and also helps weight loss and adds little brightness on my face J

Enjoy the day ladies and do comment on your experience here…
